LOL, this is what kills me about this website!! I love this!!! on thursday of this week, the actual temperature will be 101 degrees f. the humidity, as shown in the screenshot below, will be at least 47%.
this equals to a 'feels like' temperature of at least 118 degrees f. .

it seems to be a hidden joke of the brooklyn graphics department.

first, it is so disconcerting to realize that the core of your existence and the foundations of your beliefs are false that it can throw you for a real loop.
as witnesses we are so confident in all of the answers we have been given, to questions that we never asked, that we mentally put ourselves up on a pedestal above the masses of poor, blind, wicked humanity.

SIAM, the thing I don't get though is why force their will upon the rest of us? If they NEED to believe in this, why do they NEED us to believe in it too at the cost of us wasting our lives, losing our minds, or damaging our families? I swear I'll never understand it man, I've never been so arrogant and inhumane in my belief system that I'd force it upon someone else to damage their families or cause death. They fulfill Paul's words at 2 Timothy 3 about not being reasonable and not being open to agreement. They're taking their punishment and inflicting it upon the rest of us. If Mercante believes there's something special about David Splane, well good for him. The two of the them can 69 each other in the elevator and call it macaroni, and I won't say anything. But they just want to force their belief system on the rest us, and as a born-in its especially irritating. I feel like Malcom X when he said, "We didn't land on Plymoth Rock, Plymoth Rock landed on us!" I feel the same way about this religion, "we didn't land on the Watchtower, the Watchtower landed on us!" Can I get a amen?

by Joliette inmy jw's mom said this to me in convo/argument two weeks...she said that atheist have no grounds for their thinking, and they basically talk out of their asses.
she also said that the government has rules that everyone follows and thats the same ways applies to god's true servants, and that we simple have rules, no if and's and but's.. she also said that jehovah can change science, and that god is one in control of the science..

Same here, I always wondered what the real story was behind that. I seem to recall another thread dispelling both the Earth/Wind/Fire and John Denver rumor.

Classic video! "What a coincidence!" "Shut up!" Hilarious, although the truth behind it kind of hurts. This is one of those moments where I pause and reflect on how so many people including myself could be so misled. Hurts a little bit. Wow.
I never heard of the white robes rapture Bethel story either. Now THATS, interesting. I guess a proWT apologist will say the light grew brighter, and that Jesus was refining them.
